About this item
Product details
This ADA-compliant stainless steel grab bar is fabricated with brushed #4 satin-finish stainless steel tubing with a concealed mounting. The tubing is 18 guage Type 304 Series stainless steel with a .049 wall thickness and is 1.5 inches in diameter - it will not rust. The mounting flanges have two vertically oriented holes with a snap-on cover plate that conceals the mounting screws. The bar can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The grab bar is 18 inches long from the center of one flange to the center of the other. It is 100% manufactured in the USA using only domestically sourced raw materials. Grab bars should be professionally installed and installers typically have the correct fasteners (not included) for the specific application. This grab bar meets and exceeds the load requirements specified by the ADA; they are load tested at over 500 pounds and suitable for both commercial and home-use applications.
