Excellent parenting book for today's children

bought extra's for gifts for the family and myself. I am a parent and grandparent and this book was recommended by a physician and utilized in hospital settings. I am looking forward to purchasing his 2013 upcoming book. He is very knowledgeable and uses practical sense implementing parenting techniques for today's children.

Very good book!

This book states a few things many of us may have heard or already know, but the author describes things in a way that totally makes sense! After reading this, so many things became obvious to me. I have struggled so long with my strong willed 6 yr old, but after reading this book, I was better able to see her behavior for what it was, and know what to do about it. I have tried alot of these tips and they WORK!

Excellent Read

If you have a difficult or strong willed child this book is a must read. It is very easy to read and understand. A real eye-opener! A great value as well! I guess sometimes you think your an effective parent; but, turns out I had a lot to learn.
