Nasty tire

Tire came unpackage and covered with something, that at first glance, looked like dirt but it was some kind of sticky film coating. It required 40 minutes and lots of elbow grease to clean it off. I managed to remove most of the coating. Also, the tire was 2 1/2 years old. Not what I expected for a brand new tire.
