These hooks were very easy to install. I simply drilled holes where I wanted the hooks and screwed them in . They are very sturdy, each one holding large live hanging flower baskets. I have a newly remodeled patio and I wanted something that looked good. As far as value, there are 40 hooks in the package. I didn't need that many, but I know that in the future I probably will, as you can never find a hook when you need one. Now I have plenty. I will also be using these for my holiday lights , as they have that extra clip so I won't need to twist tie my lights to the hook.
