very loose fit for my size large helmet head

I had high hopes for this cap as I need better sweat absorbing out on hot weather bike rides. I did not use the product but did try it on. I ordered the shorty model as I did not want it to sit over my ears. I have an average male helmet size 53cm large so this should not fit loose but it bunches up on top and is not snug around the band. Perhaps I got one that was not sown accurately. This one offered the promise of better sweat retention, which I believe it can accomplish given the thick band in the front. However, it fits very loose so not useable. I really hoped for a good fit as I ride in a hot climate and sweat is a major issue. I hope the company reads this review and can respond in some way to address this issue.
