WHAT IS COVEREDLIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTYFor one year from the date of purchase by the original owner, Avanti Products will, at its option, repair or replace any part of the unit, which proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. Avanti Products will provide you with a reasonably similar replacement product that is either new or factory refurbished.During this period Avanti Products will provide all parts and labor necessary to correct such defects free of charge, so long as the unit has been installed and operated in accordance with the written instructions in this manual. In rental or commercial use, the warranty period is 90 days. All Avanti Appliances of 3.5 cubic feet capacity or less must be brought/sent to theappliance service shop for repair.

I got this for my dad who is 83 with short term memory loss or Dementia, this is not a EZ microwave to find, so far so good on it, he can use it good, even if he sets it wrong, it can only be set for a max of 30 minutes, i like it myself too as i really dont like the new push buttom microwaves and i only reheat stuff, so basicly it has one knob a rotating tick, tick tick knob that u set from 30 seconds to a max of 30 minutes, its just what i wanted for him & someday when i get one for my self ill get another one like this, its basic & im a basic person,

As soon as you set the dial the unit starts heating. Here are the steps: 1. Set the dial to the desired minutes. 2. Remove the cooked or heated item and eat or drink it. I used another microwave at work yesterday and I wondered why all the buttons and steps just to heat some water? This microwave should be stocked in stores. Simple is better. And by the way. This oven is well make and works flawlessly.

Needed a simple microwave for my Mom who is 80 and has dementia. She will warm leftovers, so doesn't need a lot of power. The dials are easy to use. She couldn't use the push button kind because too many buttons confused her. Thanks for still making a simple microwave. It saves her independence and dignity.
