Product details
The Thrust Washers front is for MerCruiser sterndrives Bravo three gear housing (Bravo III). These are used on high-wear applications like axle assemblies, transmissions, power take-offs, motors, and winches. It supports the side-to-side motion or axial load as a bearing surface for the rotary application while preventing movement along the axis on the shaft. The propeller would rub on the gear case housing without a thrust washer. Because of it, it provides a firm surface for the splined sleeve so the correct torque can be applied to the prop nut and keeps the prop centered on the shaft
