SABRENT HDMI OVER CAT5 RJ45 EXTEND HDMI SIGNAL UP TO 200 FEET

The distance between my TV and all the other stuff DVD player, Blu-ray, Cable box, etc is about 45m. This product is just unable to carry the data over this distance. Although the product description clearly states that this extender can go up to 50m. I could not get signal at all at the other end. Just to make sure my wiring was correct and RJ-45 connector is working, I connected one end of the cable to a router/switch and at the other end connected to my laptop. I was able to connect to my home internet network, so the wiring was not an issue. And then to make sure this extender is not defective I used it with a pair of RJ-45 cables 5m long and used it to test connectivity with my Xbox and it worked just fine and it had excellent image quality. Conclusion - The device works, but for short distances. I guess it should work for cable distance of about 25-30m. I would recommend if you are looking to use it for short distances. It is worth the price.
