love purex, doesnt leave a residue, cleans, and smells great. not a fan of oxy powders in my detergents. I always have borax I add, that makes every detergent work better. Purex to me is the best detergent for the price I would consider detergent. Meaning, there arent really "better" ones, if it doesn't clean it isn't a detergent, now, is it? If this doesn't clean for you, switch, i don't personally battle stains and heavy cleaning, i'm a jeans and tee shirt kind of guy, yet my jeans are always clean and soft and my t-shirts are white and stain free.
