Mainstays 5" Stainless Steel Utility Knife with Black Plastic Handle

I really like this Mainstays Stainless Steel utility knife with a black handle. I used it to cut a very ripe tomato and it cut through it like it was butter. The cuts were smooth and clean. The knife sliced right through without ripping or tearing the soft fruit. This knife is eight inches long and comes with a plastic vented sleeve to protect the blade. This protective sleeve can also help to prevent me from getting accidental cuts when I retrieve the knife from the utensil drawer. I like that the blade is made from stainless steel with a serrated edge and it never needs sharpening. The knife is dishwasher safe and will not rust or corrode. The strong black plastic handle is contoured and molded for a super comfortable grip. I had a great grip on the knife even when my hands were wet and slippery. The handle did not cause my hands to become fatigued after cutting and prepping foods for long periods of time. So far, I have used it to cut bread, cheese, meat, fruits, vegetables and fresh fish. This one knife can handle it all. This utility knife is a great addition to my kitchen tools and I will be purchasing several more from Walmart for my home.
