David Ortiz 522nd Home Run Signed Game Used Baseball Passes Ted Williams

Big Papi took Angels pitcher Jhoulys Chacin deep for a 5th inning home run on July 1, 2016. This just wasn’t any home run, but Ortiz’ career number 522, putting him one up on Boston’s other home run legend, Ted Williams and number 19 on the all-time career home run list. Coincidentally, the solo shot was also Ortiz’ 2,000th hit as a Red Sox. The lineup card has been signed at the bottom by then-Red Sox manager John Farrell in black pen.
