These scissors work well for small hands. My 9-year old is able to cut comfortably with these scissors. The comfort handle gives the scissors a soft feel. The scissors produce a nice clean cut, and the blunt tip will hopefully prevent accidents, especially with beginning cutters. Overall, these well-thought out scissors are a great first pair of scissors for beginning cutters.

I chose this product for my pre-k daughter because the description claimed this pair came with sheath. It did not. On the plus side, my daughter can use them with ease. She cut up her own paper in no time. The only downside is the missing sheath. I would recommend this for children ages 3+ with supervision required. She also gave herself some awful bangs cut up to hairline, so please make sure you put them away after use!
