The diameter of the opening picks up and carries orange/yellow balls for children low compression and is also compatible with standard USTA League adult tennis balls. Simply line up the tennis ball pickup tube over the ball and press down so the ball is gently forced through the black plastic end cap and into the clear tube. It is constructed of 40 inches (101.9) of durable plastic with a holding capacity 16 tennis balls. You can additionally use a permanent marker to add measurement indicators on the tube for measuring the tennis court. Tennis balls not included.
