Zinc knock-in style nuts are great for use in wooden speaker enclosures or with other, less T-nut friendly materials. The unique zinc alloy construction makes them non-magnetic so they will not be constantly attracted to the back of your speakers. The barbed design is great for use with composites, plastics, or castings where a standard T-nut just won't work. By heating the nut, it can be permanently secured in a thermoplastic housing, or it can be molded into place while fiberglassing a custom box. These nuts are very handy to have around the workshop. Recommended hole size is 11/32".
