When I opened the box I was a bit overwhelmed with the parts but as soon as I started to put it together I realized the directions were very easy to understand, straight forward and I had zero problems. I purchased this set in the black finish to match my existing decor and was very pleased with the texture and look of the wood finish. The size of this table is a bit larger than my existing table but the style with benches not only opened up my room but gave me more room for guests around my table.
