This artificial rubber is made of a combination of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and styrene butadiene rubber to inherit the strengths of both materials. The addition of elastomer SBR gives this synthetic rubber sheet a high level of physical durability and endurance for use in demanding applications. This sheet EPDM has a 60A durometer, meaning that it is fairly hard, but still retains reasonable flex and pliability. The sleek, black EPDM rubber is the perfect material to be used for commercial and industrial pads and bumpers, among many other possible applications.
