I loved being able to order such a big item online and having it shipped to me for free. As I live alone, a purchase like this can be difficult to get home by myself. The assembly instructions were pretty straight forward and I got it put together in a couple of hours all by myself. The bed is very sturdy. I also bought a mattress online that fit quite well, making the bed "low profile". I am 5' tall and don't like feeling like a little kid crawling up on a high bed. This bed looks very modern and sleek, which I like. I'm not one for a bunch of fussy furniture and decor, so I like the 4 under bed storage drawers on wheels. They can be taken out and moved about for tidying up the contents and just cleaning underneath. The bed has LED lights in the headboard, which can add lighting for ambiance. My only criticism is that the controller was already mounted to the right side of the bed, with a short cord. I sleep on the left side (alone), so I would have preferred either the option of where to place it, a longer cord, or a remote control. All in all, I would definitely recommend this bed and the way I acquired it.
