This trilogy includes the 3 movies that I think are the best of the original Star Trek motion pictures. The price was better than any other merchants for the Blu-ray discs. The item was shipped to the store and arrived there on time. This was another good experience with ordering online from Wal-Mart.

Following the 1979 released of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Trekkies or Trekkers wanted to know if there would ever be a sequel to the first movie. The answer was "YES!" It turned out that Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan would be a blockbuster hit. Before it was announced, they had to let Mr. Spock died in the movie so that a sequel would be made should it be a success. It did became a hugh hit. Leonard Nimoy who played Mr. Spock not only reprise in Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, but also directed. It too became a hit. The Adventure continues with Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Once again, Leonard Nimoy starred, directed, and co-wrote the movie. It became one of the best Star Trek movies ever. Star Trek: The Motion Picture Trilogy is the essential collection that considered to be the best original Star Trek movies ever.
