The BOSS Hitch from GEN-Y is the innovative fusion of the MEGA-DUTY drop hitch with added TORSION-FLEX technology. With the BOSS Torsion-Flex hitch, you glide instead of bounce. Adding the rubber torsion arms to the heavy-duty, adjustable, and versatile MEGA-DUTY allows for a smoother ride as only 10% of the trailer inertia is transferred to the tow vehicle. This results in an increase in gas mileage as customers now have a more stable and secure ride. Since the tow vehicle and trailer track independently, a reduction in sway and trailer bounce is felt. Customers also gain increased braking control because of the even distribution of weight between the trailer and tow vehicle. Bumps, potholes, curves, hills, and even other drivers can be a hazard, and the Torsion-Flex technology of the BOSS helps keep the vehicle under control when faced with these conditions. Wear and tear on the trailer and tow vehicle is also reduced with the BOSS Torsion-Flex. All GEN-Y BOSS hitches are made in the USA and rigorously tested and exceed the SAE-J684 Weight Testing requirements. Never exceed recommended capacity on any trailer tow coupling or vehicle receiver hitch.
