A proprietary Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguide and 100 W of peak power-handling ensure that the SP8II in-wall loudspeakers distribute sound evenly and smoothly throughout your listening area. These speakers sound awesome. Local speaker dealers overpriced competitve products and I'm glad I kept searching for an affordable yet excellent product. Very easy to install-these went in my ceiling even though they are in-wall speakers.
