We gave me is out for Halloween To keep the kids highly visible and more safe. The neighbors liked them too and it was not hard to twist into necklaces. They were too rigid to twist into a double bracelet. At the end of Halloween night we had a bunch of extras so I tossed them into the freezer to use later. One must have ruptured on the end because it started leaking glowing goo on the kids. I've frozen glow sticks
