For 3 or 4 servings, you will need 1-1/3 cups water, 2 Tbsp. butter, 1/2 tsp. salt* (use less if desired), 1/3 cup milk and 1 cup mashed potatoes. For 16 or 17 servings (entire package)**, you will need 6-1/2 cups water, 1/2 cup butter, 2 tsp. salt* (use less if desired), 1-1/4 cups milk and the entire package of mashed potatoes. 1. Stir potatoes and salt in microwavable bowl. Stir in hot water, milk and butter until moistened. 2. Cover; microwave on high as follows, stirring once, until hot. For about 2 servings, microwave for 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 minutes. For 3 or 4 servings, microwave for 2-1/2 to 4 minutes. Microwaving not recommended for 16 or 17 servings (entire package). Caution: Hot! Whip with fork. Refrigerate leftovers. *Sodium content per serving without salt is 70mg. **If making entire package, heat ingredients in 5-quart stockpot, and whip potatoes with whisk or spoon. i use dried mashed potato products for--
a variety of uses-- gravy thickeners [instead of corn starch] plus other things-- the cheapest brands work for that. i buy BC Potato Buds to just make and eat when cooking and mashing whole potatoes [[the best ! ] isn't practical. i seldom add the milk. just water and butter [maybe a bit of sour cream! ] in the final stir with some fresh chopped chives to make a tasty carb addition to a plate of hot veggies or chicken/turkey breast and gravy. i always have these in my pantry. enjoy!!

Tasty Taters
This product is the closest you will ever get to fresh. I always keep them on hand and use them for more than mashed potatoes. I use them in meatloaf and I combine my spices and a few extras to make a lovely crunchy breading. There are so many mashed potato products on the market but this one is a keeper. Try them you won't be disappointed.
