These guideline amounts are a starting point and your dog may need more food depending upon age, activity, and temperament. In order to reach optimal body condition, you may need to adjust food intake. This represents the total recommended volume of food per day. You should divide the total recommended feeding amount by the number of times you feed your dog per day to get the actual portion size per feeding.
Remember to have clean, fresh water available for your dog at all times.
Because IAMS ProActive Health Chunks dog food is complete and balanced for adult dogs, you do not need to add vitamin or mineral supplements.
When introducing IAMS dog food, gradually mix it with your dog's current food over the course of 4 days.
SAFE HANDLING TIPS FOR ANY PET FOODS AND TREATS: Please wash your hands before and after handling any pet food or treat. Wash pet food bowls with soap and hot water after each use.

high quality food at a good price
iams is the food my vet recommended for a good mid priced dog food. i would LOVE to buy the super high end dog foods, however i have 2 dogs over 200lbs each so it is a bit out of my price range. iams is a happy balance between good quality, and fair price i live in a small town and of course since there is limited places you can buy pet supplies in town the prices are high. so i was beside myself with joy when walmart teamed up with iams for free shipping on imas products ( a sale i hope lasts a good long time) making it a good deal cheaper to have it shipped to my home instead of buying it in town however the UPS driver did not look amused....lol
