It is the EASIEST bed tent to assemble. It just popped up and I put it on my bed in like 10 mins. It had areas to open for ventilation so it doesn't get hot. It doesn't take up a lot of space. Light does shine through. It is not a black out tent. I put a black sheet over it to make it a black out tent.

Got this for my daughter's room as her bed. She loves it so much. I will say that when the thing is completely closed, I feel like it gets hot in there. But that's not a problem as you can unzip it at several different places to get some airflow. When you're inside it's nice and dark and relaxing. And even the twin is much bigger than I expected. Both me and my daughter can fit in there together and nap comfortably and I'm not tiny. 😂
