Surprisingly Easy and Delicious Fried Chicken Mix"

This mix makes fried chicken quick, crispy, and full of flavor. I pan-fried mine, and the texture and seasoning turned out great—rich, savory, and reminiscent of the chicken I grew up eating in the South. Everything you need is in the box, and while it's a little messy, it's still much easier than making traditional Southern fried chicken from scratch. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Tasty Southern Chicken Fry Mix

*Review Zatarains Chicken Fry - Southern Buttermilk So glad to have gotten this free sample to try for an honest opinion. This mix has an ingredient label that doesn't have a bunch of crazy stuff that many do. Love that. When you open the inner package, it has a great color and smell. Directions on the box for frying in oil in a pan or a deep fryer. But we fixed ours in the air fryer and it was pretty good! Good texture, good flavor. I think that next time I want to use it to make Jojo potatoes. Mmm! Definitely recommend that you give the fry mix a try next time you are making fried chicken. #bzzagent #complimentarysample

Not as crispy as I hoped but still delicious!

When I had initially received this product, I was very excited because Southern fried chicken is one of my favorite dishes to order at restaurants that offer it. And not just ANY fried chicken — SOUTHERN fried chicken. I've never heard of the Zatarain's brand, but it looks pretty legit. My fiancée and I found a day to give this a shot after buying a ton of chicken in bulk and really liked it! Not as crispy as I hoped but still delicious, and it seems pretty affordable when you look for it in other retailers. Overall, I'd give it an 8-8.5/10.
