Jensen 1600 Watt Power Converter Kit: Converts foreign voltage (220-240V AC) to U.S. voltage (110-120V AC) For use with electronic razors, radios, portable tape players and similar devices. The Jensen 1600 Watt Power Converter Kit allows U.S. devices to be used abroad. This voltage converter kit is compatible with electrical devices that require a watt setting of 5001600, though it is most suitable for heat producing devices which require up to 1600 watts, such as hair dryers and curling irons. The universal voltage converter includes five adapter plugs to accommodate power outlets worldwide and a storage case.

Good Product
The product works great in China. Combine with other acessories you can run computer, external hard drive, charge batteries at the same time as long as you're aware of the limit of watt that is up to. There is no need to carry heating device, such as hair dryers, becasue the hotel will provide or rent them for free even there are not in your room. All you need to do is to ask.

Caution- not useful for small appliances
The product specifications on Walmart website do not mention that this product is not suitable to be used for small appliances, i.e. less than 100W. Hence, if you are planning to buy this item to be used for lamps, DVD players, electronic clock, etc. then do NOT buy this item. I have to go back to Walmart to return this item.
