I purchased the queen size mattress pad and like the fact that it has two individual controls. The mattress pad gets comfortably warm but not hot. I have an extremely deep mattress and had no problem with the fit.

keeping warm

easy to plug in as all the cords are at the top of the bed. no cords can be felt through the material. LOVE the DUAL controls. I usually turn my side to low about half hour before bed, then shut if off. Husband likes it warmer, and will keep it on throughout the night. Was able to take one blanket off the bed.

I freeze all the time but I didnt want something that would burn me up and make me sweat all night long either. This mattress pad is perfect it stays in place and it is just the right warmth that I was looking for. My recommendation is to set it on the highest setting then adjust from there the right amout of heat for you.
