Stellaria media, or chickweed as its more commonly known, is highly beneficial when taken in supplement form. Originating in europe, but now found in certain parts of north america, chickweed is a foliage that sprouts white flowers, which have been used for human health purposes for centuries. The many traditional uses of chickweed include circulatory, digestive and skin health applications, plus supporting the respiratory system. Among the many nutrients found in chickweed are Vitamin C, gamma-linolenic acid, Vitamins a, B1, B2 Magnesium and Iron, to name just a few. Aside from chickweed supplements, it can also be sprinkled on various foods, used topically or ingested in tea form. great overall product
I have taken chickweed for years, and i find it to be a very good herb. It helps with many things, if you look it up online you can find all the info on chickweed. On occasion I have cut back or taken it out of my daily herbs that i take, but always end up going back to them, because i can tell i feel better when taking them.

Really curbs appetite!
I do a lot of research on herbs and supplements before I try a new one. Though many have multiple uses/benefits, I chose Chickweed for its alleged appetite suppressant benefit. I am pleased to say that IT REALLY WORKS! I'm not working right now and tend to eat out of boredom vs. true hunger. I take one Chickweed every morning when I get up. Not only does it not irritate my stomach, but it prevents me from consuming unnecessary calories throughout the day! Given the ever rising cost of groceries, this is a true win/win!
