Replacement parts for Auto Window Mechanism in a 1999 Dodge 1500 van

The product was excellent although the gears are nylon rather than the metal ones that were there previously, however, the weak link, the part that breaks is the twisted strand wire that wears out, frays and gets jammed and then breaks or pops open the container and comes unwound. I'm sure a better design could be created where the windows raised and lowered via gears only and then the auto window mechanism would outlast the vehicle.
