Nite Ize Steelie Hob Knob, Smartphones Component

I really like this product and have showed it to friends and family. I use it a little differently, though: My iPhone 6S is so long that I use it for a better grip when typing one-handed in portrait orientation. To ease typing I attached the socket not in the center of the phone but closer to the bottom. Unfortunately, the magnet is not strong enough to keep the phone in landscape orientation without it slipping when it is mounted off-center like this, which is important for the car mount. I'll be adding a second socket to the center of the phone just for the car mount. Maybe the tablet socket/hobknob kit is stronger, but I expect it is too big for the car mount. Anyway, none of this stops me from recommending the product highly, but this feedback is useful for anyone like me who doesn't follow instructions precisely in favor of a better personal fit. Hopefully it's good feedback for the design team too.
