TIMEX Men's IRONMAN Classic 30 Black/Gray 38mm Sport Watch, Resin Strap

I've owned many Timex watches, most of which were in the Expedition collection. This one was purchased to replace a Casio digital that I found to be way too difficult to work with. My primary interest was an easy-to-set timer I could use for cooking and other timed tasks. This watch is perfect for these needs. Also, the face is very easy to read, with large black characters on a pearly white background. The only negative is the rubber strap, which I suspect will fail long before the watch is ready to retire.

I’ve owned four of these watches over the past ten years or so because I love this model that much. It has three alarms that I use all the time as a reminder to do various things throughout the day. It has two to three time zone settings that make it easy to “spring forward” or “fall back” during daylight savings. It has a stopwatch feature to count laps and times while running, and it has a timer I use all the time to count down when baking or cooking. The downside is each watch only tends to last about three years if I wear them 24/7. I save old ones in case a band breaks on my new one. Despite having to replace it every few years, I’m still sold on this particular Timex.
