A Perfect Chest Freezer at a Great Value
This is a great value chest freezer, highly recommended. Runs very efficiently (uses very little electricity, about $35 for all year use) and also runs very quietly, you cannot hear it running. I put the temp. dial at 3 3/4 mark and it it keeps this freezer exactly at the recommended 0 (zero) degrees. Just perfect. So far it has been a wonderful freezer. It was priced a lot lower then the nearby large appliance stores and another big savings is that all these stores charged delivery fees (about $60) while Walmart delivered it for free. I also like its large 7 cu. ft. size, which takes a lot of food, very useful. I also like the Frigidaire brand. I also like the front 2 lights which show green for Power and blue when cooling (running), so I know what is going on, helpful and informative. Everything about this order was just right and perfect.

Nice freezer but…
Let me start by saying that I think this is a quality made product. Freezer arrived packaged very well. After unpacking, I inspected the exterior of the freezer and seen that there is a small dent in the back, right corner of the lid. I was hoping it would arrive with no flaws. I haven’t ran the freezer because I am letting it sit for 24hrs. before allowing it to cool down. I can’t speak for how well it works yet. Other than the small dent, I think it’s a very nice, compact freezer. I would recommend. The price was excellent along with really fast, free shipping.

Check for damage before accepting
If you order this, be sure to check the box for dings before the delivery person leaves. I was hesitant to order this after seeing all the complaints about receiving damaged units, but figured that those were the exceptions. So I ordered it. The freezer arrived on time, and the box appeared ok, except for a small ding about a foot up from the bottom. When I unboxed the freezer, I discovered the right front corner was dented, right where the box was dinged. It won’t affect how the freezer works, but when you buy something new, you don’t expect it to be damaged.
