(Price/Case)Cookies United 42 Chocolate Florentine 1-5 Pound

Very dissapointed. The quantity was great was a lot. But it's not the flavor I grew up with. We ate these in NY also known as lace cookies and they were my favorite. These tasted burnt and like that Mexican chocolate that has cinnamon in it. I feel frustrated because I paid a ridiculous amount for them @$50 with tax and shipping etc maybe more. I didn't want to spend that much money to begin with and now I'm stuck eating all these I don't even like. I only paid that much money because I thought it would be tasting like the ones we had a a kid. I'm sorry for complaining but I feel like for that much money it better taste good. I litterly said eeeeewwww it taste like dog food as my very first reaction. So that's not good. I will not be recommending this nor ever buying them again. And as I eat more I taste a plastic flavor. I guess from the wrapping. I'm not sure. I wish I had the ones I grew up with because I would have definitely bought them again. Please let me know if you ever fix the recipe to the original flavor I will be happy to give it a try than. They do look exactly like the old ones though so I think it's the batch of ingredients or something went wrong with cooking this batch possibly.

These are made and distributed by PAWfect Distribution. Are you sure that they are not meant for dogs?? They look burnt to me too so I would not even eat one. I'm gonna ask my sister to make me some. She used to make good ones. Other than that, the best ones I have ever had were bought in Garmish-Partenkirchen in Germany back in 1985. These look VERY disappointing! At over $10 a pound, I expect much more!!!
