Best tennis shoes over ever owned

It should be noted that these are the first and only tennis shoes I've ever owned. In comparison, I had been using a pair a previously discarded Nikes that were about 10 years old. So the quality bar to clear was not set particularly high. However, the shoes felt great. Can't imagine a tennis shoe could be too much better, eh?

A true upgrade

The new Lavs are fantastic right out of the box. Better than the prior version (which was great). A bit more cushioning but also better lateral stability. I also like the use of a true tongue in this version. I can't comment on durability yet but frankly comfort, stability and foot/leg recovery are the things I most care about. Thanks New Balance.

Hope they keep making them

Most durable shoe I've worn. More so than gel res, and would compare fit and stability to diadoras Blushield AG but not as flat. Well cushioned and supportive and not clunky. Comparatively decent room in the toe box (more so than most these days). I've worn them 6-8 hours (competitive 3.5/4 play) a week for about five months. Shocked they've held up as I usually fly through shoes.
