Useful and inexpensive purchase for road trip!

I liked the rubberized or siliconized coating with holes that kept hangers from sliding around on the rod and stopped metallic noises from wire hangers. It also has several rubber washers spaced along the rod to further prevent sliding of hangers. It worked well on a trip from east Texas to central Colorado and back again.

Good buy

This is a super good purchase for anyone who travels a lot. No having to fold all of your hanging clothes. Just transfer them from closet to car and back to closet. It's pretty sturdy so you can hang other things as well. I've used one for many, many years.

Good value for the price.

Very handy for long car trips. Sturdy enough for my hanging clothes but I use less than half the rod so my rear view is not blocked. I'm not sure how this hanging rod would hold up fully loaded. It is easy to expand to any width. It is not as sturdy as my previous hanging rod. And you must have grab bars in your backseat to hook it on because this rod does not have a loop to hang on the small hooks some cars have for clothes.
