Very easy, one person install. Looks and feels sturdy. I'm using it now on a trip and it's holding up great. It's made with anti slip on half of the rod that I positioned behind the driver side so I can still use my review mirror and have enough vision to see vehicles behind me and clothes don't move or slide. It's telescopic so only half of the rod has the anti-slip material when extended but it's plenty of area to hang a lot of clothes for our trip and I didn't want to block my line of sight anyway. I can easily store it in my Ford F 150 pickup when not in use. I recommend this product!

Useful and inexpensive purchase for road trip!

I liked the rubberized or siliconized coating with holes that kept hangers from sliding around on the rod and stopped metallic noises from wire hangers. It also has several rubber washers spaced along the rod to further prevent sliding of hangers. It worked well on a trip from east Texas to central Colorado and back again.

This is a super good purchase for anyone who travels a lot. No having to fold all of your hanging clothes. Just transfer them from closet to car and back to closet. It's pretty sturdy so you can hang other things as well. I've used one for many, many years.
