doll stand is good for a beginner that wants the stand up there Barbies or GI joes. they are tall enough to hold up those type of dolls up to their waist. I used it for holding up my nightmare before Christmas dolls in my house. overall decent for a start out stand, but the newer stands have refined design that offers more abilities the home up in different areas such as the neck and under the arms.
