Love this Community Coffee with Chicory. Have been told by Cajun friends about the mosquito-repelling properties of chicory, and have found it to be true - no bites! Just wish Sam's had this coffee in K-cup pods.

where chicory grows in the wild
I recently found out chicory grows in the wild here in Washington. I lived in NOLA more than ten years ago, but still miss the CC's start to my mornings; a cup of your coffee and conversation with locals in Uptown or the Garden District on Magazine St true to "good morning!", "hello" and "how are you?" Buying a stock of CC's for home now in the Pacific Northwest (Washington state) I poured out a cup from my new french press but had forgotten to buy milk to enjoy au lait! Have I ever had chicory coffee black? This is a good 'new'. :)
