I just got this call in the mail the other day and absolutely love it. It is everything I was looking for in a call. Super easy to work on the high end and low end. Can't wait to give it a try this season. Also got the call super fast down here in Louisiana. Kirk shipped it out the same day I ordered it.

Ordered the call on 12/22/2023 at 10:30 AM. At 9:30 AM on 12/26/2023 it was delivered.! We grew up in hunting in Felsenthal using D2 Keyhole Olts with the Louisiana cut. As ag practices changed, the Ducks moved North and so did I. I was introduced to the aggressive Kirk McCullough cut in the process. The Wabbaseka Scatters call has “that quack” I've heard Hen Mallards make searching for their mate in the woods. It will get loud but not ring just like a Hen Mallard and you can blow those soft three-cadences on the corners when they are just above the hardwood canopy looking to land with a little practice. The Wabbaseka Scatters has “that ticka-ticka-ticka chatter” we were raised on. I like the simple features of the Gloss Black edition. It reminds me of the old Olt calls except better with the threaded keyhole insert. It's not the tone that makes an actual keyhole cut-down so deadly. Every Duck is different. It's “that wannnnk-wannnnk quack”, the full, loud chatter and the gruff, thick, loud cadences without any ring whatsoever. Kirk McCullough's Wabbaseka Scatters Keyhole Cut-Down nails it and they are tuned by him.
