Sonic the Hedgehog Wall Clock

This was an Easter present for my son. His whole room is Sonic and all Sonic clocks I found were only available online. He picked this one and I did not let him open it until yesterday for Easter. The clock does not work at all and the seller says no refund since it is past the 30 days. I did not think I had to unpackage and test a clock. My 6 year old is now upset and we wasted $30. I thought since it was for a child and the clock doesn't work at all they would refund us, nope, they do not care
