I purchased this watch for my husband for Christmas. The watch arrived in a timely manner and seemed to be well packaged in the box. I wrapped it and placed it under the tree. My husband opened it at Christmas and wore it for less than a week before it stopped. Assuming it was probably a battery issue, we went to our local jewelers and purchased a battery. The watch stopped multiple times after that. If the watch was jiggled it would run for a little while, but would eventually stop. The battery has been changed twice and it is still not keeping time. My husband has always had Seiko watches so we're pretty shocked this one does not work. Perhaps it's the seller trying to get rid of something that was not in top condition or perhaps the watch is a lemon. Regardless, we've just paid over $100 for a watch that is useless. Might as well have come from a gumball machine. What I would like the seller to do is issue a full refund or an exchange. I will take a chance on a second watch since it's a Seiko and they have a wonderful reputation. However, I haven't heard from the seller. Hopefully, Walmart will take responsibility since they are the ones that allowed their customers to purchase from this seller.
