In the summer of 1929 two brothers, Steve and Martin Teibel, opened a twelve stool roadside diner in Schererville, Indiana. Over 72 years and three generations later, the business has grown to an 800-seat full service restaurant, nationally renowned and recently inducted into the Indiana Restaurant Hall of Fame. Steve and Bob Teibel, grandsons of the founders, base their success on the basic principles of excellent quality products served at reasonable prices.
