Thumb tip can be trimmed to allow full thumb movement. Comfort Cool D-Ring Thumb & Wrist Orthosis protects and supports the entire thumb and wrist for conditions such as arthritis, tendinitis, sprains, strains, skier's thumb, gamekeeper's thumb, de Quervain's, wrist instabilities and post-surgical repair. Made with perforated neoprene with terrycloth liner that helps keep skin dry. Neoprene can be trimmed for a more custom fit and will not fray. Metal volar wrist stay is pre-bent to position the wrist in functional extension (approximately 15¡). Volar wrist and thumb stays can be bent to conform as needed and can be removed as the condition improves. Firm features multiple stays that provide greater immobilization of the thumb and wrist, and is made with 1/8" (3.2mm) thick material. The two additional dorsal stays prevent unwanted flexion and extension. Available in Short length measuring 6-7" (15-18cm). Anti-microbial and is not made with natural rubber latex.
