The book is composed of articles that canvass contemporary legal issues in international law, family law and environmental law. Further, the book also includes articles that canvass the legal issues that have emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic such as mental health rights and economic rights. Most of the articles in the book are commentaries of the contemporary legal issues in Kenya with the exception of two articles 'Customary International Law at its Best: An analysis of the position of Customary International Law in Kenya and the United States' and ' The Principle of Self-determination: A delicate balance between Unilateral Secession and Territorial Integrity of states' which are commentaries on International law. The articles in the book are a reflection of the author.
