Signature Design by Ashley Casual Trinell Queen Panel Headboard, Brown (HEADBOARD ONLY)

This headboard is very attractive and completes the look in my college son's rustic/industrial bedroom remodel. I purchased the matching night stand too, and am pleased with how well packaged the furniture was when delivered. They really DO look very lovely. Both pieces are VERY heavy, which is why I am reluctant to give this headboard 5 stars. I do truly love it, but as others mentioned, it's so heavy that when attached to the bed frame by just two bolts on either side, it felt very tippy and top heavy. If my son were to lean back against it, I'm certain that it would either crack at the base where it's attached, or it would bend the bracket on the frame. I took two giant cube sized chunks of the Styrofoam packing material that came with the head board and duct taped them to the back side of the head board. I also added a bit of fabric padding too, to protect the wall. The headboard now has "bumpers" behind it, if my son does lean back. Hopefully my red-neck resolution will solve the issue.

Looks great, easy to put together. Needs more support for mattress. I had to put a board on bottom. Maybe more crossbars or I would of give it a five star.
