extremely entertaining game

This game gives the owner a chance to play courses only heard or read about. From the first in the world St. Andrews in Scotland to the famous Pacific bordered Pebble Beach in Carmel, the graphics are incredible. Places like Wolf Creek perched on hills in a desert enviornment look daunting, but good play rewards the golfer with great scores. If you like Wii golf, this is a must have! Get it! Because of the possibilities it takes a little while to become accustomed to the controls, programming and different kinds of play. Set up and play is not instantly intuitive. Once learned, it simulates golf in a rewarding, fun, satisfying way.

Better then I expected

I've been a PC Gamer for many years. My Wii is only 4 months old so I'm just getting accustomed to interacting with this new game platform. I pre-ordered Tiger Woods 09 before it's release date not sure what to expect. Well so far I have no regrets. If you enjoy the game of golf I think you'll agree it's got the same feel as the real game in many respects. There's a neat new optional feature where four players tee-off on a hole, all play the hole at the same time, the first one finished watches the other 3 finish the hole. (Really speeds up the game) I'm fortunate enough to play on a 65" HD TV that makes the experience that much better. Don't expect the high graphics resolution of the PS3 or XBox but the picture and sound are up to standard TV quality. It's a fun sim!

Great Game

I got this game for my husband for his Birthday and he just Loves it. I had got him a different golf game for Christmas because it was cheaper and you get what you pay for. Spend the extra money and don't do what I did get this game right away. He plays it every day and he don't even play golf but he LOVES the game.
