Kinetic Sand, Sandwhirlz Playset with 3 Colors of Kinetic Sand (2lbs) and Over 10 Tools, for Kids Aged 3 and up

This kinetic sand kit comes with everything you see on the box. It also has a handy carrying case so you can keep all the products together once you're finished playing. This kit has blue, red, and yellow sand which your child can play with the colors individually, or use the pieces to mix and make somewhat of a "fountain" that comes out for a few seconds by putting a piece through the bottom of a clear round cylinder and pushing it upwards which forces the sand to come out the top exactly like the pic on the box. You can stack the colors in the clear cylinder or you can mix them and then pick the top which comes in 6 different designs which makes the flow design different when your child pushed the sand up and out. The pieces are pretty hard to click on so I had to help my 4 year old but he was able to push the sand out. Once he tired of it he just played with the kinetic sand and incorporated it with other kinetic sand pieces from past purchases. Overall this is a lot of fun for kids. However once you've mixed the colors, they are forever mixed. We found that once it was mixed it was a very dark blue, dark purple color but the sand is still fun to play with. All the plastic pieces are well made so they should last a very long time. You can just replace the sand with refills in the future if your child doesn't like the mixed color or it gets yucky from lots of play time bc Walmart sells refill packs.

My grandsons, ages 5 and 3, loved this. They have kinetic sand, but the flow feature added another dimension of play for them. The colors turned a little muddy brown when they mixed together, but that didnt bother them at all. I enjoyed playing with it too! Price was extremely reasonable for what you get. Plenty of sand and tools to use. Great toy!
