Quick and easy in the microwave! Oatmeal is the way to go on a cold, busy morning. Just add fruit and you are ready to go. I add apples and walnuts, sometimes strawberries and blueberries. When I am feeling really daring, I might use all 4. The trick is to personalize!

I tend to like, thinned down soupy oatmeal. I make it that way intentionally! If you're looking for, as my mother says, "oatmeal with a bite" then buy the old school stuff and make it on the stove. I also like to use this for overnight oatmeal but only takes a couple of hours and it's done with the regular oatmeal does in 8 hours. I'm weird.
