Cook time was accurate as well as temperature (measured with included probe). Cooker insert is on the heavier side which appears to be of high quality. Stainless steel exterior is very attactive. Followed a recepie with included cookbook. Easy to follow instructions and the stew turned out perfect.

I've made beef stew twice using the crockpot setting and had my first stab at making sous vide steak and it was fantastic! Very clear instructions included with temperature guage (which plugs in to the front panel and is inseted through a hole in the top of the lid), plastic bags, and a recipe book. Everything you need to give sous vide a try. The push button controls on the digital panel are user friendly and simple to understand. There are options for sous vide, slow cooking, and to keep warm, as well as time cook, with a digital timer that I LOVE! No more guesswork on when your meal is ready. This model also has a locking lid making it great for bringing to potlucks! No more risk of spills. I immediately gave my other slow cooker to my niece. This is my new favorite appliance and I can't wait to try more sous vide recipes.
