An excellent first aid ointment!

This review for the Neosporin Original Ointment is a no brainer for me. I chose it because it's one of the best first aid ointments I've found. I used it on all my children and tell my grown children to use it on my grandchildren. I also use it on myself so I can personally recommend it. It is an antibiotic ointment and the number one doctor recommended brand that you can get across the counter. And being an antibiotic ointment, it kills germs, which helps to prevent infection and that's what you want for minor cuts, scrapes and burns on your skin. If you have small children or grandchildren you know they get a lot of those minor cuts and scrapes :-); and it doesn't sting. To my surprise in reading the inactive ingredients (I read everything lol) it contains Olive fruit oil and Cocoa seed butter and those are good for the skin. This is an ointment you should always keep in you first aid kit.

good to have.....

Accidents happen all the time, whether you’re at home, or on the go, I'm glad to have this ointment in my first aid kit. Everyone should have this on hand because "Neosporin Original Ointment" provides long-lasting infection protection with no sting at all, and will minimize the appearance of scars. This has ingredient of Neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B, and bacitracin zinc, that help's prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. It's designed for, and the number one doctor recommended ointment brand, from the makers of "Johnson and Johnson". This ointment contains "Helidermtm Technology" which help's provide a nourishing environment for your skin which has an effective germ kill formula. Simply apply a small amount of the" 24-hour infection protection" ointment on the affected area, one to three times daily, and enjoy less visible scars because of the ingredient of cocoa butter, cottonseed oil, olive oil, vitamin E., sodium pyuvate and petrolatum. This is a truly first aid, antibiotic ointment and I feel safe knowing that this ointment will help in keeping germs out,and with quick healing properties.

Doctor Recommended

I've been using Neosporin Original Ointment for years this is Doctor Recommended even. I've also tried other brands which is cheaper but, I feel doesn't work quite as well as the Neosporin brand does. This is a first aid antibiotic ointment which I prefer over the cream it seems to moisten the cut and heal it a lot faster and keeps the scarring down they tell you to use it with a band-aid. This ointment is to be used in first aid for cuts, scrapes and burns I find it very soothing especially when I have a burn. It list all the ingredients plus the inactive ingredients. I like that's it's formulated with cocoa butter, cottonseed oil, olive oil and vitamin E. They also have an 800-223-0182 to call if you have any questions. If you never tried Neosporin Ointment before you really should give it a try and see the difference in makes for fast healing, less scarring.
