I use the shampoo and conditioner. Together they work well. Leaves my hair clean, soft and shiny. After you shampoo the hair feels stiff . I only do one shampoo but let it set for 3-5 min and rinse and scrub slowly: then dry with a towel apply conditioner for a few minutes and rinse off. I have told all my friends about it and all are satisfied with the result. For years I had used expensive salon shampoos until a guy recommended this brand and I love it! I believe your hair gets use to what you use over time so I alternate shampoo, deep conditioner and conditioner. I have curly hair, sometimes I use some of the conditioner as styling cream if I go natural Try! if works great if not you lost a few bucks

The scent isn't really strong, by the time you rinse it just has a mild scent that you can smell but just a little. It's a creamy conditioner, not watery. It works fast so you don't have to leave it on for a long length of time. I have very fine hair and it never makes it weighed down or greasy. It makes my hair very soft and I still use it and appreciate it.
